Overview

The 454th Blasheimer Markt 2025 took place from September 4 to 7 in the Lübbecke district of Blasheim. As every year, it gathered around 300,000 visitors from Ostwestfalen, Lower Saxony, and the Schaumburg region. Three festival tents, a Ferris wheel, a small animal market on Friday, a trade exhibition, and a market mile characterized the four festival days. The opening fireworks on Thursday evening were once again one of the visual highlights of the OWL event autumn.

The city of Lübbecke hosted the 454th edition of the Blasheimer Markt in 2025. Four festival days in the traditional Blasheim format: three festival tents (Borchard, Rose, Meier's Deele), an extensive funfair with a Ferris wheel and tower, a small animal market on Friday, a trade exhibition of local artisans, and a kilometer-long market mile. An impressive confirmation that one of OWL's oldest folk events remains unbrokenly relevant after more than 450 years — and a must-attend for many from Ostwestfalen, Lower Saxony, and Schaumburg.
